We dance in celebration of the life we have been given
of the body we possess of the prayer we profess
of the hope of our collective consciousness
in the spirit of agape spreading love and respect
from the depths of our imagination
we have learned to speak in more ways than one

poetry and motion with the spoken and written word and
the sacred and soulful song to the beat of the drum and
the beat of the heart within the works of art and
creation of which we are all one
made in the image of our creator
                              creating community, forming families,
                              bringing birth and beauty
                              making new meanings
                              with each new morning
                              awaken
                              dance in celebration
                              move in inspiration
                              live in appreciation
for the gifts of your creation
for what you have been given
