~Yoga, meaning “union” in the ancient Sanskrit language, combines asanas or postures, fluid movements, & conscious breathing practices that bring a deeper sense of self & well-being to any body at any age & fitness ability.
~Thai Massage, also known as Thai yoga massage, incorporates massage, acupressure, & passive stretching in yoga poses that safely stretch the body, alleviate chronic pain & tension, and restore energy, balance, & well being.
~Reiki, a Japanese healing art form meaning "universal energy", uses the powers of intention, meditation, prayer, & sometimes touch or hands-on healing to help soothe dis·ease & stimulate the innate healing process.
~Meditation, with its many techniques from diverse cultures and traditions, is a true time-tested practice that re·minds the psyche and the body of our true nature, potential, inner peace, and power.
~Pilates helps to strengthen & stretch any body type by using movement which engages the abs, center, hara, &\or core, easing back and joint pain, and improving balance, coordination, joint mobility, and posture.
~Movement, from the most subtle, such as breath, to the most expansive, such as in dance & yoga, allows us to explore the magnificent abilities of the human body, depths of the human mind, & even the realms of the soul.
~N.Y.K., N.Y. Kripalu is the greater New York community of The Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health in Lenox, MA.  Kripalu, meaning 'compassion', is a style of yoga that focuses on breath, relaxation, awareness, acceptance, and balance and is an all-inclusive practice for any one and every body.
